Nobody can complain the Carl Zeiss! I would rather be amazed by those Zeiss lens made 50 to 60 years ago. mostly made to apply RF(Range Finder)-Contax II and so.

It is ironical that those old technology shows much more superior pictures than those made today designed by computer and more accurate fomulas, more sophisicated computerised machines. Now I am being convinced thjat this is not coming technology but because thesedays lens manufacturers does not have hand made system that requires smart and experienced masters who has more than 20 years experience, no masters now, but only have mass production system. Some sort of material shortage might have been affected, there were planty of nice raw materials for lens like crystal etc.

Or leica spend long time to crystalize the raw special glass material. When I think about the cost of manufacturing lenses closer to 50's or 60's products, it impossible to make even with 10 times higher cost than thosedays. So we are returning to old days-Back to the Future!!
